Who is responsible
Knull Limited, registered in England and Wales (company number 16173977), is the controller of personal information collected through this website. Our registered office is 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom.
For questions about this Privacy Notice or to exercise your data-protection rights, please contact Knull at info@knull.co.uk.
Information we collect
When you enquire, we collect your name, organisation, work email, country, region and requirements. You may also provide your job title, sector, phone number, programme or service interests, participant numbers, timeframe and delivery preferences. Please do not include sensitive personal information or confidential information about other people unless necessary and appropriate.
We record your enquiry type, reference, submission page, referring page and campaign parameters present in the link you followed. We keep your privacy-notice acknowledgement, optional marketing choice, submission time and a history of how your enquiry is handled.
For submission abuse prevention, our enquiry service stores a one-way hash of your network address rather than the address itself. Hosting and email providers may also process technical connection information and operational logs as part of providing their services.
Purposes and lawful bases
- Responding to an enquiry and taking steps you request before a contract: pre-contractual steps where you are the prospective contracting party; otherwise our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
- Preparing proposals, managing organisational contacts and following up a commercial opportunity: our legitimate interest in providing and managing professional services.
- Protecting the website, keeping appropriate handling records and managing disputes: legitimate interests and legal obligations where applicable.
- Optional programme and insight marketing: your separate consent. You may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
The required checkbox acknowledges that you have read this notice. It is not consent to marketing or the lawful basis for every use of your data. Marketing is optional and is not required to submit an enquiry.
Service providers and email
Authorised Knull personnel use your information to handle enquiries. We use Lovable Cloud for website and enquiry infrastructure, and Resend for enquiry acknowledgements and internal email notifications. These services and their subprocessors process information needed to provide hosting, storage, security and email delivery.
Enquiry details are included in email notifications. Resend processes email content, recipients and delivery information. Its documentation states that account data, including email metadata, logs and API records, is stored in the United States regardless of the email-sending region. A sending region in Ireland does not mean that all processing takes place in Ireland.
We do not sell personal information or provide it to others for their independent marketing. Information may also be shared where legally required or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
International processing
Knull is established in the United Kingdom and responds to organisations worldwide. Using our website from another country may involve processing outside that country, including by providers and subprocessors in the United States and other locations.
International transfers must meet the requirements of applicable data-protection law. Relevant safeguards may include an applicable adequacy decision or contractual safeguards supported by any required transfer assessment. Contact Knull for information about the safeguards relevant to your enquiry; this notice does not represent that a sending region alone determines the applicable transfer arrangements.
Knull has no registered UAE establishment, office or local operating licence. The requirements relevant to a particular enquiry depend on the processing and applicable law; the absence of a UAE establishment does not by itself rule out local data-protection obligations.
Retention and deletion
Ordinary inactive sales enquiries are retained for no more than 24 months from the last meaningful interaction, with earlier deletion where appropriate. Internal viewing, notes, assignment or other ordinary internal edits do not restart this period. The enquiry system records status changes as the interaction events that update its retention clock.
The system calculates an expiry date and includes a scheduled deletion process for expired enquiries. A documented lawful retention hold, such as an active contractual need or legal claim, prevents routine deletion. Separate contractual, financial or other legally required records have their own retention requirements.
Deleting an enquiry also removes its associated activity history and email-delivery outbox records from our enquiry database. A minimal audit record remains to evidence handling and deletion, without contact details. Deletion from our database does not itself remove copies already delivered to email inboxes or records retained by service providers under their own applicable retention arrangements.
Submission-abuse hashes have a separate 24-hour retention period. We do not retain location coordinates for Solar appearance.
Your rights and complaints
Depending on the applicable law and circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your information, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent. These rights are subject to applicable exceptions.
Email info@knull.co.uk with your request and enquiry reference if available. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity. Under UK GDPR, we normally respond within one month; where a lawful extension applies, we explain the reason and revised timeframe.
You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office or another competent supervisory authority where applicable. You do not have to contact Knull before making a complaint.
Security and confidentiality
We use access controls, authenticated staff access and handling records to protect enquiry information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Please use the enquiry form only for information needed to describe your requirement; we can agree an appropriate channel for sensitive material.
Cookies, preferences and changes
Our Cookie Notice explains functional browser storage, staff sign-in and optional local daylight. Solar is the default appearance and works without location permission. Choosing local daylight is optional; rounded coordinates stay on your device for this visit.
We may update this notice when our services or processing change. The date above identifies the current notice. Material changes will be communicated where required.
